(From the album "Classic British Motorcycles")

This is the long version of a classic motorcycle ride from the Silver Ball Cafe at Reed to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford for the Remembrance Sunday free admission day!

Although the run was organised by the Royal Enfield Owners Club, I only have the one bike - a Matchless, so i went along on that!

Good to see the sun shining on the righteous ! This is one occasion when I had a hankering to be further South in the U.K. than where I live. I.H.D. - Derek.

Wow ! I didn't know what was happening further back - I had produced printed route instructions. ;o) The stop was for my front wheel puncture (scary) which was fixed with a cycle tyre weld kit and topped up to 20 psi with a hand pump. I was a little apprehensive (!) about it going down again but it lasted. The last bit showing the filtering through the queues at Duxford clearly demonstrates the benefits of 2 wheels ! Join us next year ! John :o)
